Project 139. Commitments Delivered

In November 2017, “Project 139” came into being. The name relates to Clece’s commitment to recruit 139 women who were victims of gender-based violence over the course of the year. The project was announced at the III Compromiso Awards. The awards were specifically dedicated to recognising projects focused on gender-based violence.

Why Project 139? The number is symbolic. It relates to the number of candidates entered for the awards. Thanks to the efforts and collaboration of institutions and social entities, the initial aim was achieved within just nine months, exceeding all expectations.

“Project 139” has been a significant driving force for the integration of this collective. There are now 235 women working in Clece who are victims of gender-based violence. This is 47.7% more than last year.
