Laboral MAD. Promoting Inclusive Employment.

For the first time Clece organised Laboral MAD (Workplace MADRID) in the Madrid Community. The event saw 2000 jobs offered to those with two very specific profiles: 1,000 jobs were for vulnerable collectives, and a further 1,000 for those interested in working in social care for the elderly.

Prior to the start of the event there were more than 2,000 on line registrations thanks to collaboration with more than 40 entities, amongst these, the Spanish Red Cross, the Adecco Foundation, Pinardi, Randstad and the Integra Foundation. The event took place on 9th and 10th May. Over this time 1,843 candidates were interviewed and more than 1,200 additional CVs were collected.

Despite the numbers involved, Laboral MAD succeeded in making the candidates the real stars of the event. The prior appointment system and provision of 20 recruitment stands enabled the event to provide a personal and friendly service that made it a real driving force for inclusive employment.
