Since 2014, Clece Social has promoted inclusion through its “Colloquium-Forums for Integration”. This is an event that facilitates dialogue between different agents participating in this common challenge: institutions; intermediaries; companies; and candidates.

The latest edition was the eighth forum. It took place at the La Magdalena Palace in Santander on 1st March, 2018. Its title was “Are We Talking About Inclusion in the Workplace? Participants at the forum were: Gema Igual, Mayoress of Santander; Roberto del Pozo, Town Councillor for Personal Autonomy; Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Iglesias, Deputy Mayor of Cabezón de la Sal Town Hall; Tomás Castillo Arenal, Director of Amica, the association the disabled; Cristóbal Valderas, Chairman of Clece; and María José Mateo, one of Clece’s workers.

The event highlighted the need to encourage alliances between private companies and administrative authorities as well to support training in order to reduce levels of unemployment for disabled people, those at risk of exclusion, and women who are victims of gender-based violence.
