Nicoleta Burlan

“Work has helped me to not depend on anyone, to provide for my children”

Far from her native country, Romania, Nicoleta was dealing with “a very complicated abuse situation in a country where she didn’t know anyone”. After some hesitation, fear and uncertainty, she took the decision to leave. “It was an enormous step to take, because I was in a hole with no way out. But I did it, for myself and for my children” she recounts. Eight years have passed since she started work at Clece. “Work has helped me to move forward, not depend on anyone, to provide for my children. These eight years have been like another school for me. I feel really fulfilled”.
