EDITION IV 2018

Clece held the Fourth Edition of the Compromiso Awards in order to publicly recognise the extraordinary work that social entities and the communication media are doing to help people who are victims of gender-based violence and promote their integration into the workplace.

Award Winners

The winners of the fourth edition of the Compromiso Awards are:

Award for the ‘Best Social Project’

Fundación Santa María La Real

For their project: “Jobs for Women in Castile and Leon”

Aim: to promote the social and workplace placement and improve the employability of all those that are in especially vulnerable situations.

Asociación de Xóvenes Emprendedores de Lugo (AXEL)

For their project: “Blister, knowledge pills”

Aim: to seek to overcome gender stereotypes and train women in jobs that are traditionally associated with men – such as electrical work, plumbing and gardening.

Fundación Don Bosco

For their project: “Integrated Itineraries for Social and Workplace Integration”

Aim: to improve the employability of victims, there are 800 companies registered with their Placement Agency.

Award for ‘Best Journalism’

Marisa Kohan
Journalist on the newspaper “Público”

Work: the in-depth treatment and continued follow-up of this issue through her work as a journalist.

Best Awareness-Raising Initiative

“Zero Tolerance. Everyone Against Abuse”
Antena3 News and Fundación Mutua Madrileña

“Zero Tolerance” puts the focus on the importance of reporting abuse and making it visible, not only for the victim’s sake, but also that of family and friends.

María José Garrido Antón
Captain in the Guardia Civil

Work: her career has been closely linked with the protection of victims. In 2011 she wrote the “Pschological First Help Guide on Gender-Based Violence”.

Work: for their collaboration with Clece on workplace integration over the last year.
