Female victims of
gender-related violence

Clece supports female victims of gender violence by facilitating their job placement, and assisting them to regain their self-esteem, personal independence and autonomy and also takes part in different initiatives aimed at sensitisation and awareness regarding this social problem. At the present time, 178 women who have been subject to gender-based violence are integrated in the workforce.

The job she got in the dining hall of a center for the elderly helped Mari Carmen to overcome her fears and remake her life, after suffering from domestic violence for 29 years.

The story of Marta Guerrero, a Clece employee, is synonymous with overcoming and fortitude. Her rough experience at the hands of gender violence drove her to help other women also victims of this scourge. Thanks to this she was awarded with the Civil Merit Order badge by King Felipe the VIth.

It is possible
