Facilities and programmes that mark the difference

The new centre has a total surface area of 11,000 square metres and capacity for between 7,500 and 9,000 users, depending on how the facilities are used. The centre is split into two levels, with the lower level containing three pools, a feature that sets it apart from other complexes. One is a 25-metre swimming pool, another is a hydrotherapy pool, and the third pool is for water aerobics. The lower level also has a physiotherapy room and sauna, as well as the changing rooms.

The upper floor features a 700-square-metre gym and various rooms that can be used for different activities, such as spinning or aerobics. The centre contains the very latest technology and sports equipment, such as  105 different machines in the fitness room, and 45 indoor spinning bikes. The facilities are rounded off with child-minding and play centre rooms.

Together with first-rate facilities, the complex also has a full and innovative programme designed for the whole family, including up to 65 different activities, divided into categories such as aquatic activities, choreographed activities such as Zumba and aerobics, and body-and-mind activities.

The Tamaraceite sports complex is a landmark for the Clece Group and its growing activity in the Canary Islands, where the group currently employs 4,000 people.
